Hi My name is Pat Adams and this year I will turn 56 years old. Just can not believe how the years have flown by I suppose I must have been having so much fun – or so the saying goes.

I am married to a great guy Barry -  he must be to put up with me but to be serious he has always been so supportive and lets me get on with my life and the things I want to do. Even when it was throwing myself off a cliff in New Zealand (I did a tandem paraglide) Barry took the pictures!

Well five years ago I was diagnosed with breast cancer so hopefully my next check up in May will be my last and I will be signed off  and can stop taking the tamoxafen – fingers crossed.

I bought my Harley Davidson Sportster  two months after being diagnosed even though I had not passed my test – It gave me the incentive to pass my test which I did in the October. I have now ridden over 22,000 miles on her and am a road captain and principle officer for my local Harley Davidson chapter -  Thames Valley. I have to say it’s the best thing I have ever done.

I am so looking forward to taking part in the Amazon ride this October and to meeting new friends and I just know that the ride will be a fabulous experience and what better way to celebrate my fifth anniversary.
