Harley-Davidson is a fantastic sponsor of Amazon Heart Thunder rides around the world. In the UK this year, Harley-Davidson have organised a special fundraising ride by breast cancer survivors and Ladies of Harley riders to raise funds and awareness ahead of a full Amazon Heart Thunder ride in 2007. We are excited to be hitting the roads in the UK with Harley-Davidson again this year!

The ride starts from Harley-Davidson in Oxford, England and travels over three days to Aviemore, Scotland for the Thunder in the Glens Rally organized by H.O.G.'s Dunedin Chapter, and finishes at Edinburgh Harley-Davidson.

Proceeds from this event will benefit Amazon Heart Trust UK and IBC UK.

How You Can Help
There are three ways to give:

Online: please choose a rider to sponsor and follow the link from their page to a secure site.

Individual donation : download the individual donation form for sending a donation by post to the charity. Should you wish, you can state on this the individual or H.O.G. (Harley Owners Group) chapter you are supporting so that your kind donation can count towards their participation in this ride.

Multiple sponsorship : for the Ladies of Harley that are joining us along the ride, and the HOG chapters that are supporting the ride - download the sponsorship form for obtaining sponsorship from your friends / family and workmates. You should note on this your name, or chapter you are representing, so that the donations you collect are counted against your participation in this ride.

Day One: Friday, 25th August - Start at HDE, Oxford

Silverstone H-D (Nene Valley Chapter) Towcester (approx. mileage = 33)
Sycamore H-D (Rutland Chapter) to Uppingham (approx. mileage = 42)
Robin Hood H-D (Sherwood Chapter) to Nottingham (approx. mileage = 36)

Overnight Nottingham

Day Two: Saturday, 26th August

Harleyworld (Peak Riders) to Chesterfield (approx. mileage = 27)
Eddy Wright's (Aire Valley Chapter) to Leeds (approx. mileage = 47)
Just Harley's (Geordie Chapter) to Newcastle-upon-Tyne (approx. mileage = 97)

Overnight Newcastle-upon-Tyne

Day Three: Sunday, 27th August

Travel north to Aviemore to arrive Sunday evening at the Thunder in the Glens Rally organised by the Dunedin Chapter.

Overnight Aviemore.

Day Four: Monday, 28th August

Parade from Aviemore to Holyrood Palace and Parliament, Edinburgh - official ride finish.
