Day Seven began with an emotional start with the news of Melissa Etheridge's diagnosis with breast cancer. The group dedicated its ride to Melissa with messages of support on our bike and support van windshields. We rode north through San Francisco, over the legendary Golden Gate Bridge - the first time to the City for many of the riders. On our approach, it appeared we would be fogged in, but halfway across it lifted fro a glorious view of the second tower. After a brief photo stop at the vista point, we continued north for lunch at Golden Gate Harley-Davidson in Corte Madera, on through Sonoma and then back to San Rafael for the night. The big question that remained - would the fog lift for our final ride into San Francisco the following day?
