I was a single mom for 7 years, I met Jeff on a blind date, we married, and I was diagnosed with breast cancer 3 months later.  I did it all, chemo, radiation, a mastectomy,(with reconstruction at the same time),chemo again, a stem cell transplant in Chicago, time off of work and accumulation medical bills.

Cancer is in my family.  I lost both grandmas, a grandpa, an uncle, and both parents to this horrible disease.  I got through it with The Love of God, my family & friends who came long ways to visit me during my long stay at UIC, and my doctors.

I am alive, and I thank God every day.  I live to have fun, and laugh at everything, except, of course, when someone loses a loved one.

I switched to motorcycling from boating, due to the high fuel costs, plus the marina fees.  I love my bike.  I have a 02 Honda Shadow Spirit 1100cc.  I ride every chance I get. I wish I learned to ride 20 years ago.  Now I have to make up for lost time!
