From May 22 - 29, a group of intrepid breast cancer survivors, including myself, will embark on the adventure of a lifetime, riding motorcycles from Brisbane to Sydney in Amazon Heart Thunder, a unique high-profile advocacy, community building and fundraising event for women living with breast cancer. 

Breast cancer is the number one female cancer in Hong Kong. It affects 1 in 22 women and there are 2,000 new cases every year. The numbers are rising at an alarming rate.  There are now more than four million women living with breast cancer worldwide. 

Amazon Heart Thunder is organized by Amazon Heart, who run support programs for breast cancer survivors in partnership with leading breast cancer agencies around the world.

我和一班來自世界不同國家的乳癌康復者將於2009年5月份為乳癌康復者籌款，
我們一行四十多名康復者駕駛著 [哈雷電單車] 從澳洲的布里斯本出發，
一直駛向雪梨市，全程若八天。

這次的行動除了為乳癌康復者籌款外，亦為提高大眾對防治乳癌的瞭解及其重要性。
跟據最新資料，每22名香港女士就有一位層患乳癌的過案；
而全球有超過四百萬女性層患乳癌。除了數字不斷上升外，亦有年輕化的趨勢。
