Well here I am again, my name is Lynda , I'm 44 and a survivor of Breast Cancer.

Two years ago I participated in the ride from Sydney to Brisbane.  Being on that ride and meeting all the amazing women brought it home to me exactly what I had overcome and gone through.

My two wonderful boys and amazing ex-husband gave me the strength and courage to fight and fight I did. I had a lumpectomy first and while in hospital my youngest son graduated from primary school, there was no-way I was going to miss it so with a lot of sweet talk and promises of "I WILL BE BACK" they let me go.  Even the stares from other parents could not dampen my happiness and pride of watching my son graduate.  I did go back and a week later had to have  a radical mastectomy.

My wonderful sister took time off work to take me for each of my chemo sessions, it has brought us closer together.

I'm happy to be involved in the ride again, to meet up the past and new participants.
