A feeling of dread
As the diagnosis is read

Our hearts stops
As we think on these words

We feel sick
Cause the truth really hurts

The words sink in
It hurts within

The problem lies within her chest
We must go for now and let her rest

The words still hit home
The cancer of the breast is piecing and pure

The sadness we have
Because cancer has no cure

But lucky is she
The medication worked quickly

She found it early
Her chances have grown

All is well
And she is back home

It was a heavy burden, a very big load
But now that she’s well, she yearns for the road

No not four wheels nor six, just two
Her happiness is inspiring as she screams

WOOHOO!!!!!

This has been a story of a woman, cancer and a bike
The journey has been hard, but we’ve finished the hike.
