To all of my friends,

As a fellow Harley Lover, I wanted to share a little about my story with you.  14 years ago, I entered a new chapter in my life in more than one way. First, after two months of being happily married to my husband Dan, I was diagnosed with breast cancer which required surgery , chemotherapy and Radiation treatment. You might think that an experience like this could make us bitter or afraid, but I see things in a little different way. This two year ordeal allowed us time to rediscover our passion as well as our commitment to each other and our families.

The second part of our story was when Dan presented me with my first motorcycle as my “Now that you have finished treatment…let’s get on with life present”. I took my motorcycle safety course in the pouring rain, bald from chemotherapy and very excited about my new adventure. Little did I know how this shiny new bike was going to change my outlook and my life.

I was amazed by the feeling of freedom and power that this new toy provided. It allowed me to look at life through a new lens and gave me one of my most precious gifts….A new Harley family.
