Wow, Dylan what an amazing poem. That really gets your thoughts across. My sister is currently going through what your mum went through and my 10 year old niece Tanya has to go through all the worry that you did. I will show her your poem and I hope it gives a little bit of piece of mind and will let her know that there is 'light at the end of the tunnel'. Your mum spoke a lot about you when she was in the UK you sound like a truly special guy and you have a very very special mum too. Thanks again for sharing your poem with us and also for sharing your special mum. Also just wanted to say………. 'Cool Fro dude!' He he! Donna, Good luck I will be watching your progress on the ride. I'm truly envious and wish I could be with you on this one. Despite snoring I would still choose to room with you and your calming presence (however you do still owe us a few beers if I remember rightly!) Take care and enjoy! Lots of Love and Hugs Carolyn xxx

Dylan, what an astonishing little guy you are. It's wonderful that you were able to put your thoughts and feelings down on paper as to how you felt about your mums illness. I will be showing my two daughters your poem. Your mum is a truly remarkable lady and it was my great honour to meet her when she came to the UK. Donna, you are truly blessed to have a fantastic son like Dylan, hope all goes well with the Australian Ride, I wont be able to follow it much as I'm away myself but have fun, take care and catch up with ya soon. xxxxx
Donna, not only are you a wonderful and talented person, you've raised a poet laureate as well! Dylan, your poem brings it home to me just how much this nasty disease affects the family as well as the person.
Donna - ride safe and keep it shiny side up. Don't forget the ear plugs!!
Hey all you Aussie riders, I hope you're having the time of your life, it sounds as if you are and I am truly envious. Enjoy every moment and also the women around you and enjoy the rest of your run. Donna - that's a lovely poem your son wrote, no wonder you was missing him.. bless his lil cotton socks! Lots of love to all Jules
