I am incredibly excited to be able to participate in this year’s Amazon Heart Odyssey to India!

This December, a small band of young women from around the world, including myself, will put aside our own battles with breast cancer to take up a new challenge – building a cottage for AIDS and Tsunami orphans in India.

For me, this adventure is also an incredible opportunity to meet other young breast cancer survivors from across the United States and Australia and to build a supportive community based on our shared experiences.

While in India we will also meet with local breast cancer survivors to share experiences of the disease, and to demonstrate the importance of peer support.

To make this incredible project a reality, I need your support for my fundraising efforts. My personal goal is to raise $5,000, which will not only pay for the construction of the orphans cottage, but also peer support for breast cancer survivors.
